- Hey, didn't I look studious at 11 years of age? .. Anyway!.... I'm a middle-aged quietly spoken gentleman brought up in Hinckley, Leicestershire. My parents moved me with them to Earl Shilton, Leics. just before I'd had the chance to slip out unnoticed to get a place of my own, which I eventually succeeded in attaining when I moved out to Bedworth, Warks. Due to a change of jobs I then moved on into Salford, Manchester, eventually ending up here in Monton Village on the outskirts of Salford. I have now lived in Salford for over twenty years. I have been a Licensed Radio Amateur (G8FYK) since 1972, I was a Mobile Disco owner and DJ for approx ten years from early 70's to early 80's, and I still have an interest in Studio/PA Audio systems. For the past (goodness knows how many) years I have worked within the areas of IT Technical Support. I enjoy a single person life, enjoy female company, am opinionated, grumpy, once likened to Victor Meldrew, long winded, have a sense of humour (so I'm told), used to have an irrepressible and intelligent but soft/daft Collie/Alsation cross dog, have a tendency to suffer from verbal diarrhoea, etc., etc., etc., ........
